Fun With Geocaching

*Geocaching is a sport or hobby that involves the hiding and finding of objects using the Global Positioning System (GPS) data. Discoveries are logged by location, which is then shared with other participants. (a.k.a. Geocachers)

It is a high-tech treasure hunting game played throughout the world by adventure seekers equipped with GPS devices. The basic idea is to locate hidden containers, called 'geocaches', outdoors and then share your experiences online. Traditionally, the hidden object is a… Continue

Mio Michigan

my ideal camping is Mack Lake in Mio, its very rustic, in the middle of the woods, a water pump, and sites to park ur unit in.
Growing up there as kids we used to follow the trails that go through the campground, we had so much fun exploring the trails, getting firewood, then going to loon lake rto swim. Bon fires grilling chicken, making fruit filled pies with pie makers, and samores.. So much family fun, I still go there, at leasst once a yr. And still 46 yrs later still have so much fun there

Hiking From Indian Valley to Sombrero Peak

At 4229 feet Sombrero Peak is the highest point in the southern end of Anza Borrego Desert State Park. We have observed this impressive mountain over the years from various vantage points but never made the trek to the top. As Jerry Schaad describes it :

"Climbing Sombrero Peak is a feat attempted by relatively few people, but not because of its height (4229 feet above sea level), which is quite modest. Rather, the peak is remo
