weather was beautiful and the only rain we got was after bed time. couldn't be better unless we were still there.

Oh!! I meant to ask, Which CAMPBELL line do you belong to? I worked with a lady from Easley, SC in doing some research on the Campbell Clan in the upstate. Another lady finally finished the book and there is supposed to be a copy of it in the Easley SC Library. It is about the Gowensville Campbells.

Charles CAMBELL,
Did you do any of the trails at Devils Fork? I would like to but I was in a car accident in 2001 and am not able to walk very far any more.
Have you tried any other parks? There is one just below Table Rock State Park, called Palmetto Cove. My late husband used to love to go there and walk down to the river and just lay in the water and let it wash over him. We both enjoyed it there. If you would like peace and quiet, it is the place to go. It is just off Hwy 11 where Hwy 8 joins. They have a huge indoor and outdoor recreation facility, a trail to the river (where you can fish) and we enjoyed the swings up on the pavilion area where you could sit and look out over the park. We saw deer, turkey, all kinds of birds, and the other campers welcomed us in with open arms. They are full hook-ups and grassy area parking spots.
